How to Choose Between 4-Seater and 6-Seater

The decision comes down to three things: room size, household size, and how often you host. According to guidelines from the Space Planning Institute, a dining table needs a minimum of 90cm clearance on all sides for comfortable chair movement  more if the dining room also functions as a through-route between rooms. For a 4-seater rectangular table (typically 120cm x 75cm), you need a dining room at least 300cm x 255cm. For a 6-seater rectangular table (typically 180cm x 90cm), you need at least 360cm x 270cm.

All our wooden dining table design sets are built in solid sheesham. The finish choice walnut or natural is the variable that most affects how the set reads in the room.
